Our History

A school built on a promise to form heart and mind — one student at a time.

EST. 1999
How it began

A community, from day one.

In the summer of 1999, STI Pre-school Bicutan opened its doors to young learners in a spacious lot in a quiet neighborhood. Its founder, the late Mr. Edgar H. Sarte, had a simple dream: to provide a place for nurturing young learners to help them discover and realize their limitless potential.

From those first preschool classrooms, the school grew with its families — expanding into grade school, then junior high, then officially becoming an independent institution on February 4, 2015, when it was renamed St. John Paul II Academy, Inc.

Today, located in Marimar 2 Village, Parañaque, the school is home to over 25 teachers, 8 administrative staff, and 250+ students from Kinder 1 to Grade 10 — all rooted in the same founding promise.
